Surrounded by family and caregivers Ken quietly passed away on March 8, 2016.
Ken will be lovingly remembered by wife of 61 years Laura, his children; Don (Tannis), Debbie, (Larry), Kevan (Judy) and daughter Jane, by his sister Mavis Doxey, two nephews and many loving friends. ‘Papa’ will be greatly missed by all of his 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Ken is preceded by his son in law Brent McKie, Grandson Brandon McKie and Godson Niall Wallace.
A service will be held April 2nd @2:00 PM at First Memorial Funeral Services on 1720 Bowen Rd, with a reception to follow at The Rotary Field House on 850 Third St. (parking is lower / field level). Donations to BCBSRA (BC Blind Sports & Rec. Assoc.) in Ken’s memory would be much appreciated.
