April 25, 1921 - June 16, 2018
Kathleen Mary Herold (nee Williams) passed away peacefully on June 16, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Kay was born April 25, 1921 in St. Joseph's Hospital and lived in Esquimalt all her life except for the last 10 years when she moved to Nanaimo to be closer to her family. Here she met many new friends and continued to enjoy playing bridge. Kay spent many happy years with lifelong friends from the Victoria Girls Drill Team which she joined in 1940. She also had many happy years with her great friends from the bridge club.
Kay was predeceased by her husband Peter, brothers Jack and Jim, and sister Nahlin. She is survived by her three sons, Peter (Alana), Michael (Sandy), and Jeff (Barb), 5 grandchildren, Kristi, Sean, Dylan, Alison and Shannon, and 6 great grandchildren, Riley, Cole, Kate, Hannah, Jake and Lucia, sister Mary Bulmer, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
By Kay's request there will be no service. "Remember her as you knew her." The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. Dodo and the staff of Dover House for the wonderful care given to Kay.
Flowers are gratefully declined. A family tea will be held at a later date.
