Julia Jones (Syms)
Julia Jones (Syms), age 63 of Nanaimo, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 11, 2016 surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Alan Jones, her three daughters Sarah (Jason) Bryce, Alison (Jason) Thomson and Lindsay (Ryan) Kennett and her six cherished grandchildren; Owen, Logan, Taylor, Nolan, Avery and Finley, brother Clive (Gillian) Syms. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
A mom, a grandma, and Julie (to her friends), was proud to say she was a homemaker and stay at home mom. Family and friends were her passion and delight and she devoted most of her time to them.
She had a laugh that was contagious and the most heartwarming smile; she touched many people’s lives and loved us all unconditionally.
Her passion for gardening was very evident as was her love for animals, there was never enough bird baths or feeders hanging in the garden.
Julie’s service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on September 19th at Brechin United Church, 1998 Estevan Rd, Nanaimo BC. Following there will be a “Celebration of Julia”.
