Judy passed away peacefully on March 19th, 2022. Judy is survived by her brother Dave (Ann), children Janice (Jim), Alyson (Randy), Scott, 4 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren. Judy was born in Manitoba & moved to Lantzville with her husband Gord & 3 children to raise their family.
She quickly became part of the community, volunteering at the Anglican Church, working part time at the post office, belonging to various book clubs & on any sunny day, she could be found enjoying the serenity at the beach. Judy was easy to talk to & many would stop by during her beach time to have light or deep conversations. Judy was always there for her friends & her greatest love was her family.
She experienced a great sense of loss when her husband Gord passed away December 2009. She had a special bond with her children and great grand children, they were the light of her life & she spent many hours attending their activities & sport events. On the day of Judy's passing, the sky was clear and the sun greeted the sea at her favourite beach spot.
We will miss her smile, her strength and words of wisdom. We feel at peace knowing she has gone over the rainbow to dance in the sunbeams with the love of her life, Gord.
