Born the first son of, Clarinda and Ernest Savoie, in Monkton, New Brunswick. Joe, has seen a lot in his life, from living through the depression of the thirties. To Peace Keeping Missions as a, Royal Canadian Engineer, involving ‘The Cold War’ in Germany, Japan and time in Korea in the fifties. More recently trying to make sense of the modern day world and computers. Joe, had an indomitable spirit making his five foot three frame appear ten feet tall. He will be sadly Missed by family, Sister, Jeanette (Gerald) Brother, Eric, Sister, Violet (Rick) Brother, Alban (Elizabeth) Sister, Vitaline (Norman) and many nieces nephews and friends. Special thanks to neighbours, Sandy and Greg, for their help these last days and to his good friend Ron and friend Anneliese who were with him until the end.
