Jack passed on May 16th at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Jean, children Dean and Deanna, Darren (Salan), Jennifer (Keith), Geoffrey (Cindy) and grandchildren Zachary, Ryan, Jeanine, Michael, Kiano and by brothers Harvey of Regina and Bob (Dorothy) of Katepwa, Saskatchewan.
Jack grew up in Bethune, Saskatchewan and in 1966 moved to Vancouver Island where he resided until his passing. He enjoyed a wonderful career in post-secondary education. He served as a welding instructor and Asst Dean and Dean of Vocational programs for many years at Malaspina University-College. He was also very active in the Mid Island community in various meaningful capacities.
His family and many friends are all welcome to attend a recognition ceremony in his honour at the Nanaimo Golf Club main floor banquet hall, Sunday, June 2nd, 3pm.
