GRANT, John (Jack) Connon
April 23, 1958 – October 7, 2014
Gone too soon. On October 7, 2014, we lost a wonderful man, husband and father, Jack Grant. Jack loved life, adored his wife, children, grandchildren and his many pets.
Jack is predeceased by his parents John Frederick Grant and Luiza Mary Grant. He leaves behind his beloved wife Peggy Marie Grant (Adair), children Diane, Tyler (Megan) and Shalon. Grandchildren Secora, Jasper and Victoria. As well as his brothers Rick Grant (Val), Robert Grant and sister Mary Ann Fearing.
Jack enjoyed rock hounding, gardening, camping and spending time with his family and friends. He had an incredible love all animals, especially his bunnies. He enjoyed volunteering at our vet’s office. Jack was a man who enjoyed helping others and would help anyone, anytime. He was a loving, caring, gentle man who will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nanaimo Community Hospice Society or to the BC Cancer Agency for Lung Cancer research.
A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held on Saturday, October 18th, 2014 @ 1:00 pm at the Neighbourhood Church 4951 Rutherford Road, Nanaimo, BC.
