McFARLANE, John E

Native son of Nanaimo, BC passed away in the NRGH on May 21, 2004. He is predeceased by his parents and one sister Margaret Jepson. John is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Joan, daughters; Linda Lindsay, Sheryl McGhie (Terry), Wendy Coulton (Rick), Chris Morgan (Brian) and one son Larry (Kathy) McFarlane, eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, brother James (Jean) McFarlane, sister Mary Mrus and several nieces and nephews. John worked for 43 years for the former Comox Logging Company and retired 15 years ago. Private family cremation. Flowers gratefully declined. For those so desiring, donations in memory of John may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
