TURNER, Jo Anne Marie

November 19, 1944 - May 24, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jo Anne Marie Turner, of Nanaimo B.C., at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, after a brief battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert as well as her long time partner, Robert Gibson. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Liptak of Nanaimo; son, Dale Turner (Dierdre) of Singapore; daughter, Mary Turner (partner Robert) of Calgary; brother, Paul Liptak (Barb) of Qualicum; grandson, Jason of Nanaimo; granddaughter, Nicole of Australia; Aunt Anne Paul, Aunt Audrey Berger and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She will be remembered by many from her years as a parent volunteer with the Nanaimo branch of Navy League of Canada and the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets.
