Jeannetta Elizabeth “Betty” Thomson (Brown), 1930 – 2016, of Ladysmith, BC, passed away on August 3rd, after a brief illness in Nanaimo Hospital. Betty is pre-deceased by her husband Ken (1987). Survived by daughters Karen (Bill) Stant, Linda (Bill) Holmes and son Gary (Vicky) Thomson. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother Jim Brown, sister Shirley Jones, numerous nieces and nephews and their families, and her dear friend Joyce Puska.
