Jean Paul Guy

We mourn Jean-Paul. Born in 1939 in Rivière du Loup, Quebec, he died July 1 in Nanaimo.

JP was a kind and generous man, a good friend, and loved his family dearly. He was passionate about hockey, and played for 70 years, at times on three teams! JP gave his all in day to day life and was loved for his sense of humour and hearty and infectious laugh.

He had a varied work life, 21 years in the RCAF and 9 years as the owner of Bunsmaster Bakery.

He leaves his wife Judith, loving sons Stefan, Michael, his partner Lauren and grandsons Hayden and Charlie.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Nanaimo Minor Hockey in Jean-Paul’s name.
