Janice passed away on
August 12, 2008 after a
courageous battle with
cancer. She was born in
Saskatoon and raised in
Victoria. She was the
daughter of Hazel and
Stanley James. Janice was
predeceased by her fi rst husband Michael John Fisher.
Janice is survived by her loving husband Eugene
Mayes, mother Hazel, sisters Nancy Janes and Donna
Vanglyswyk, sons Gregory S. Fisher of Cranbrook and
Michael E. Fisher of Nanaimo, stepsons Richard Mayes
and Philip Mayes (Terry) of Tofi no and granddaughter
Megan Fisher of Cranbrook.
