LIGHTBURN, Janet Hilda,
born on June 25, 1924, in Manitoba, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2003 in Nanaimo, BC. Janet is predeceased by her husband Dick in 1993, her parents, and her daughter-in-law Paige, wife of Richard James. Janet is survived by her children; Richard, Tommy (Carol), Wayne (Bonnie), Janie (David) Johnson, Lloyd (Brenda), Peggy (Bob) Taylor, and Vernon (Lana), four brothers and four sisters, Janet is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchil dren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held for Janet on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 1:00pm, at the Nanaimo Alliance Church, 1609 Meredith Road, Nanaimo. Pastor Dan Adams officiating. Follow ing the Graveside service at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, a reception will be held at the Nanaimo Alliance Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Janet’s memory to the BC Cancer Foundation.
