June 22, 1926 - July 21, 2018
Howard passed away peacefully at 92 years of age at Berwick on the Lake in Nanaimo, B.C. where he lived for the last 6 years. He lived a long and adventurous life and as he would often say, 'a wonderful life'.
Howard was born in Fergus Falls Minnesota, U.S.A. and moved with his family to Canada in 1929 and homesteaded in James River, Alberta. His passion throughout his life was aviation.
Predeceased by his wife Mary in 2009, he is survived by his daughter Sharon and her husband Eugene Nazarov. We are grateful for Dad's wisdom and never ending love.
We would also like to thank the staff at Berwick for their compassion and caring.
A celebration of life for Howard will take place on July 27, 2018 at 10:00 am in Calgary, AB.
