It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father. Hilmar passed away peacefully, January 7, 2012 at 93 years of age. He emigrated to Canada from Norway at the age of 19. His career was working as a faller in the Logging Industry until his retirement. Dad was a strong man, a humble man and a wise man. He had a great sense of humor, a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was a War Veteran, a Legion member and an inaugural lifetime member of the Sons of Norway.
Dad leaves behind his wife, Vera of 63 years; son, Ray (Linda); daughters, Judy (Doug) and Carol (Serge); also many grand children and great grand children; sister, Sigrid (Alberta); nephew, Amie (Finney) and numerous relatives in Norway.
We love you and miss you Dad
