Hedwig (Heddy) Luther
November 9, 1948 ~ September 6, 2012
Heddy passed away, peacefully, after a lengthy, but courageous battle with brain cancer. She was born in Germany and emigrated to Canada at the young age of 19. Heddy leaves to mourn, her loving husband, Oliver; sisters, Irene & Brigitte; brother, Nils, as well as many friends.
We would like to extend our special thanks to our physician Dr. Pienaar and staff of Victoria General, and Palliative Care Unit of NRGH.
At Heddy’s request, her body has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will take place at The Neighbourhood Church of Nanaimo, 4951 Rutherford Rd, Wednesday, September 19th at 2:00 p.m.
