During the evening of April 4, 2018, Gloria Jean Hovde departed from our material World to continue her journey elsewhere. She has touched many with her love and devotion and will be dearly missed.
Her zest for life and love for friends continues to inspire all who knew her. She lives on in the hearts of family and many friends.
Gloria is predeceased by her mother Jean Marie Letkeman (1996), father Peter Letkeman (2004) and brother Michael Letkeman (1997).
She is survived by sisters Ardythe Madeline Barrette and Wia Marie Francis and brother Robert Peter Letkemann. Gloria belonged to the BC Teacher's Federation and was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
A Celebration of Gloria's life will be on April 16th, 2018 between the hours of 2 pm and 4 pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 2424 Glen Eagle Crescent, Nanaimo BC, Bishop Shane Faganello officiating.
