June 20, 1927 – May 17, 2015
It is with saddened hearts the we announce that George passed away peacefully with his family by his side. Predeceased by his daughter Darleen and his 3 sisters Thelma, Myrtle & Gladys.
He leaves behind his wife Dorothy Anne of 60 years, his daughter Christine (Larry) Barth and his son Stephen (Laura); his brother Joe. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brandon, Jennifer (David) and Laura; great grandchildren James, Jonathan & Janelle and several nieces and nephews. George was born in Nanaimo and worked for BC Telephone Company. He loved to camp and fish at Big Qualicum. His family would like to thank Dr. Jones for his care and to the Drs. and nurses in the ER at NRGH. There will be no service as requested by George.
