It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Freddie, born in Offenburg, Germany; Freddie made her home in Nanaimo. Survived by her loving husband, John; daughter, Jackie; mother, Helga; brothers, Markus and Klaus; sister, Heike; and numerous friends who loved her dearly.
No service by request. An open house was held in memory of Freddie, on July 10, 2013. Thank you to all of our friends, doctors, nurses, home support, hospice and palliative care for their love, compassion and outstanding support during Freddie’s illness. Freddie, you are loved and will be greatly missed. Flowers are gratefully declined, but those that wish to, may make a donation to Palliative Care or Hospice.
