Fred, 84 years old, of Nanaimo, BC passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2016, surrounded by family. Fred will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 64 years, Vi; their six children, John, Nancy, Michael, Jeff, Greg, Lynda, and their spouses; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Fred’s sisters and brother and their families; as well as extensive family across Canada.
Fred’s warm smile, quick wit and generous spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. Fred loved to play card games and was always an enthusiastic partner. As well, he could always be counted on to have an impromptu sing-along.
Loved deeply, missed immensely, and cherished always.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring, on the deck Fred loved.
