In Loving Memory of Francis Nelson Lamothe
July 28, 1929 – April 8, 2010
Francis passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 8th in the Rehab Unit of Nanaimo Reg Gen Hospital after a lengthy battle with illness. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy (Peggy), daughter Donna (Drew) Fullerton, grandsons Morgan (Jessica) Fullerton and Spencer Fullerton.
He will be greatly missed by his extended family – Margaret (Jim) Gemme, Gwen Rodgers, Donnellda (Jack) McGrath, Bob (Susan) Shaver and many nieces, nephews and friends in Ont and BC.
Francis was born in South Porcupine, ON and joined the Air Force in 1952 and spent 3 years in Coal Lake, AB as a Leading Air Craftman. He left the Air Force in 1955 and moved West to Nanaimo where he drove transport for 22 years. He loved fishing and hunting and spent many wonderful moments on the water – both the ocean and the lakes. He will be remembered and loved for his goodness and generosity.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to any of the following charities; Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Association or Diabetic Society.
