It is with heavy hearts that the family of Frances Dykes announce her passing on May 6, 2021, just three years shy of 100 years young.
Fran is predeceased by her husband, William Henry. She is survived by her three children: Carol McLellan, Lesley Sirianni, and Earle Dykes; as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
They will always remember her for her love of life, phenomenal cinnamon buns, camping trips making mountain pies, sitting around a campfire at Norman Lake and Cedar campsites, family reunions, the knitting she did for all the children in the family, and her volunteer work with Nanaimo Hospice.
At this time, no formal service will be held.
