Born in London, England, January 6, 1930, slipped away peacefully at Travellers Lodge January 5th, 2006. She started her nursing career in Britain in 1949, on to Ontario, V.G.H, R.G.H, and Langley Lodge, retiring to Nanaimo in 1991. A long time member of Eastern Star, T.O.P.S. and Heart and Stroke Walking Group. Mom loved to make people laugh and will be missed by her family, daughter Helen (Phil) Harrison, grandsons Andy and Brock, son Steven (Kristy) McNulty, and granddaughter Kasey. A farewell tea will be held at the Travellers Lodge, Stepping Stones entrance, Saturday January 21, 2pm-4pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to Kids Help Phone (1-800-268-3062) would be appreciated.
