Dorothy was born in Nanaimo on August 10, 1918 and passed away at Malaspina Gardens on Nov. 22, 2009. She was predeceased by her father Tom; mother Zelia and brother Bob. She leaves to mourn her niece Linda McCourt; sister-in-law Lillias McCourt; cousin Lily English; dear friends Linda and Jack Olsen and faithful companion Kelly. She also leaves many relatives in England, Scotland and Australia.
The family would like to extend appreciation to all the staff at Malaspina Gardens for making the last year of her life such a loving one.
