Donald “Cuyler” COTTON
Donald “Cuyler” Cotton, age 65 of Nanaimo B.C. passed suddenly Sunday, January 22, 2017 while vacationing in Thailand. He is survived by his cherished daughter Kayla Cotton (Chance Skauge) of Halifax, N.S. and his loving Life Partner, Joanne Ness of Nanaimo, her daughters Meghan Ness ( Chris Ruff) and Jessica (Daryl) Lusk and 7 beautiful grandchildren. Brother to Shanna Edwards of PEI, and Allan (Diane) Cotton of N.B and fondly remembered by Debbie Cairns of PEI. Predeceased by parents Doris and Glen Cotton of PEI.
Cuyler a consummate entrepreneur, established business most recently as P.A.T.S Personal Assistance to seniors in Nanaimo and is dearly loved by clients and friends of the BC Pensioners and Seniors Org. His infectious enthusiasm for life and thirst for travel offered professional and cultural opportunities the world over. We will remember him with a heart wide open and desire to help others unending.
Funeral Services were held on February 4, 2017 at 1 pm First Memorial Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC, V9S 1G9. A luncheon was also held at the BC Pensioners and Seniors Organization, 2465 Labieux Road, Nanaimo, V9T 3M6 immediately following.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to the BC Pensioners and Seniors Organization at the above address in Cuyler’s Honor.
