David Raven
February 25, 1935 - October 2, 2017
David passed away peacefully with his family at his side.
David was predecesed by his parents Donald and Ruth Raven of Salmon Arm and his sister Rosemary Blair and her husband Bruce.
David was survived by his loving wife of 53 years - Nancy, daughters Barbara Raven (and her partner Darwin) and Patti Juengst (and her husband Robert), grancdhildren Olivia and Michael Juengst, brother Jim Raven (and Sherry) and several nieces and nephews.
David worked for the BC Highways Department for 35 years and later volunteered for several organizations including 25 years at the Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program. He enjoyed playing duplicate bridge with Nancy and other partners.
A celebration of David's life will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel (#1 Newcastle Ave., Nanaaimo) at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14.
