Lillian, Chrystal Muir
Born April 19, 1919 in Nanaimo, passed away September 26, 2003 at Nanaimo Senior’s Village. Predeceased by husband William, brothers Alex, Eddie and Jimmy Rogers and sister Goldie Bryce. Survived by daughter and family, Wendie and Herb Harrington, grandchildren Michael and Jennifer as well as lifelong friend Marge McIntyre and her daughter Dianne (Bob) Falk and numerous nieces and nephews. Lil was a native daughter of Nanaimo who worked for the school district for many years as secretary of Woodlands School. She was also a championship ten pin bowler and continued bowling past her 80th birthday. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful staff at the Nanaimo Senior’s Village for their loving care and compassion. No flowers by request. Those wishing may make donations in Lil’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 3, 2003 at 2:00pm at Mount Benson Chapel, 125, Wallace Street, Nanaimo, BC.
