Charles Pryde, born October 15, 1927 in Glasgow Scotland passed away suddenly in Nanaimo following a short illness March 5, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife Trudy of 70 years, his four children, many grand/great grand children, nieces and nephews. He served in the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada, Nanaimo Yacht Club, and the Canadian Power and Sail Squadron. Charles was an accredited official in local and provincial competitive swimming. He had a long and varied career in the BC Forest Industry, enjoyed sailing the open waters and adventured in the wilderness.
