Charles Newman
December 5, 1927 – August 19, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Charles Newman, aged 86, of Nanaimo BC, on Aug 19 2014 at Nanaimo General Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife Marion of 54 years, siblings Ruth, Phyllis, and Skipper all of Ontario, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Charlie was a Heavy Duty Machine Operator most of his working life, an avid fisherman, a member of the Nanaimo Golf Club and the Nanaimo Curling Club. Charlie had many friends who will miss him dearly. No formal service will be held at Charlie’s request. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
