December 18, 1985 – June 7, 2020
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Bradley (Brad) Adamson at the age of 34, after losing his battle with cancer. He passed away comfortably and peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH surrounded by his wife Mellicia and his family.
Born in Cold Lake, Alberta, raised in Cedar Vancouver Island. Brad started working at a very young age mowing the neighbour’s lawn so he could buy his own car. At the age of 10, he bought a car and taught himself how to drive. Since he was a kid, he has always been a cars and trucks enthusiast. When he was in high school he got himself a Pontiac Sunfire, then he upgraded and built it to be his own and for it to be one the a kind. Brad had a few jobs, but his biggest and proudest accomplishment is when he became owner/operator of Adamson Trucking Ltd. and when he started working for his best friend to manage the trucking division of Ellis Trucking Ltd. He is well known and respected in the construction and trucking industry. He always took great pride in the way he works.
He was pre-deceased by brother-in-law Glen. Survived by his wife Mellicia (Melissa), Dad Jacques (Patti), Mom Anna (Earl), Brothers Anthony, Joe (Jen), Clayton (Cari), in laws Mama Imelda, Papa Ferdinand, sister-in-law Isah (John) and his extra set of second parents by heart Doug and Carolyn. As well as many aunties and uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Palliative Care Unit, NRGH for giving Brad the opportunity to pass comfortably and peacefully. We can’t thank you all enough for how good you took care of him in the most caring and compassionate way we could ever imagine.
A Celebration of Life will be held and will be announced on a later date.
