In loving memory of Boro Andjelkovic who lived a long and fulfilling life, filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. He peacefully passed away on February 20, 2024 at NRGH in Palliative Care.

Born on June 28,1931 in Karavoukovo Serbia, he embarked on a journey that led him to Vancouver and then to Nanaimo, where he thrived. Providing for his family was paramount for him. He worked hard on the BC Ferries for 33 years before retiring in 1996.

A true connoisseur, he found joy in crafting and savoring the finest wines he made, a skill passed down through generations. His story telling at family dinners left an indelible mark on the hearts of those around him.

Throughout his life's journey, he was blessed with the unwavering love and care of his devoted wife, Nada, whose dedication, devotion, and companionship were a source of strength and comfort for him. It was her love care and attention that helped live to the wonderful age of 92.

Boro will be deeply missed by his beloved Wife of 62 years, Nada, Children, Branko (Brian) John and wife Dana, Grandchildren, Kendall, T.J. and Brady and fiance Madi, bother Vojo and wife Stankija Andjelkovic, Nephews, Denny and Alex Andjelkovic. He may no longer walk among us; his spirit will continue to live on in the memories we hold dear.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday March 30 between 1 and 4 at 256 Legion 1630 E Wellington Rd Nanaimo. A light lunch will be served. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Boro Andjelkovic may be made to The Alzheimer's Society of BC.

As we bid farewell to Boro Andjelkovic let us take solace in the knowledge that he lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments, leaving behind a legacy that will endure for generations to come.
