Rosvold, Blair Douglas
October 1954 ~ January 2011
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Blair Douglas Rosvold (aka Mr. Wonderful) at the age of 56 after a lengthy battle with cancer on Sunday, January 16, 2011. Blair passed away peacefully with his wife Diane, best friend David & his cat Midget by his side. Blair was predeceased by his father, Earnest and is survived by his loving wife, Diane of Nanaimo, BC; mother, Patricia & Roy Norby of Claresholm, AB; brother, Curt (Nancy) of Lethbridge, AB; brother, Barrie (Irmi) of Victoria, BC; brother, Ronald (Samantha) of Victoria, BC and numerous nephews and nieces.
Blair was born in Bengough, SK & later moved to Lethbridge, AB where he lived and worked at Canada Packers for 21 years until he moved to Nanaimo, BC in 2004 to marry his loving wife, until his passing.
Blair was a very gentle, kind & loving man. He was very devoted to his job at Country Club Mall in the maintenance department until he fell ill. He always looked forward to going to work and sharing his life and dedication to his job.
At Blair’s request, there will be no funeral service. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In memory of Blair, please donate to the Canadian Cancer Society or the BCSPCA. His last wish was for everyone who knew him and loved him to continue on with life, smile and remember him as he was before the illness took hold of him.
Blair will be sadly missed and forever loved by his family & friends.
