August 21, 1927 - January 14, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Beverly. She was born in San Francisco in 1927 and passed away peacefully Jan 14th in Victoria where she resided with family the past couple years. She was the second of three children born to William and Jean Southern. Soon after birth, the family moved to Victoria, then Nanaimo where she lived for more than 80 years. She is predeceased by her husband Hugh and brother Jack and is survived by her sister Shirley, daughters Genevieve, Kathleen and Susan, sons Terry, Peter and John, 13 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.
If there was one phrase to describe Mom it would have to be that she was “all about family.” Mom touched many lives.
She will be greatly missed & forever loved!
