It is with great sadness the family of Barbara Kolich announce her passing on June 25th, 2019. She passed peacefully with her daughter by her side surrounded by the love of her family. Barbara now rests in the arms of her Lord. Barbara was predeceased by her son Joseph Vukovich, and her sister, Marija Kolich. She will forever be in the hearts of her beloved children,
Barbara Brookbank, and George Horvat. She will also be remembered with deep sentiment by her siblings, Karl Kolich (Inger), Sister Zenovija Kolich of Croatia, and her Grandchildren, Darlene, Grant (Glenda), Jason, and Great Grandchildren, Haley, Nicole, and Blake.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Malaspina Gardens and her many special friends who cared to visit her.
There will be a mass of Catholic burial held by Father Mel at St. Peters Church (301 Machleary Street, Nanaimo V9R 2G8) on July 6, 2019 at 11 am followed by a burial at the Nanaimo City Cemetery (555 Bowen Road, Nanaimo V9R 3P8) with a reception to follow at Sands Funeral Chapel (1 Newcastle Avenue, Nanaimo V9S 4H6)
