To those I love and those who love me

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Nan Nicol on Saturday, February 5, 2011.
Born in Hurlford, Ayeshire, Scotland on July 16, 1928. Nan is survived by her husband of 62 years, Andrew Angus Nicol and her two children Deborah and Stuart. Nan’s greatest joy in life was her music, having been an award winning singer since her youthful days in Scotland. She studied at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto and competed in many music festivals. Nan and Angus had enjoyed a long and happy retirement together since their arrival in Lantzville in 1989. Nan had been a member of the Malaspina Choir and the Order of the Eastern Star.
A memorial service will be arranged by The Order of the Eastern Star Crescent Chapter #10 at Morpeth Lodge on February 22nd at 1:30 p.m.
