Alba Maria Negrin
November 4, 1927 – May 8, 2016
After a long battle with vascular dementia,
Alba passed away at Nanaimo Seniors Village
on May 8, 2016 at 88 years of age.
Alba was born in Melma, Treviso, Italy. She came to Nanaimo in 1959 and married Aldo Negrin. Alba was predeceased by her husband Aldo in 1994 and 8 brothers and sisters in Italy. She is survived by her daughter Nina, son Bob (Kari), grandchildren Thomas and Kennedy, her beloved Beagle Honey and numerous nieces and nephews in Nanaimo and Italy.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Nanaimo Seniors Village for their care and compassion during mom’s stay.
There will be a private family service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, any donations to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society or
Canadian Diabetes Society would be appreciated.
