In accordance with Section 124(3) of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that District of Lantzville Council intends to amend “Council Procedure Bylaw No. 141, 2020” by adopting “Council Procedure Bylaw No. 141, 2020, Amendment (Agenda) Bylaw No. 361, 2024”. In general terms, the proposed amendment would amend section 18 by requiring regular meeting agendas to be published no later than 12:00 noon on the Friday prior to the regular meeting. Further, members of Council will be required to submit any motions for an agenda on the Monday prior to the regular meeting, rather than on the Tuesday. The purpose of these amendments is to ensure more specific and timely production of regular meeting agendas.
