NOTICE OF INTENT TO AMEND
COUNCIL PROCEDURE BYLAW NO. 141, 2020
In accordance with Section 124(3) of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that District of Lantzville Council intends to amend “Council Procedure Bylaw No. 141, 2020” by adopting “Council Procedure Bylaw No. 141, 2020, Amendment (Electronic Attendance) Bylaw No. 348, 2023”. In general terms, the proposed amendment would amend section 9. ELECTRONIC MEETINGS & ELECTRONIC ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS, by amending subsection 9.(1)(b) to allow Council member electronic participation at the Closed portion of a regular or special Council meeting.
A copy of Bylaw No. 348, as at third reading, can be viewed on the District’s website at lantzville.ca or on the bulletin board at the Municipal Hall located at 7192 Lantzville Road, Lantzville, BC.
