Watches, rings, ID and other items stolen from Lantzville home

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking the public to be on the lookout for a number of items that were stolen during a residential break-and-enter in Lantzville.

The break-in happened sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Oct. 7 from a home in the 6000 block of Manhattan Way.

Thieves entered the home through a sliding glass door and made off with a small amount of cash, personal identification, several watches, wedding bands and other rings, pearl jewelry and a laptop.

The watches stolen include a Seiko Automatic diver’s watch with a black face and black wrist strap and a Seiko Solar Chronograph with black face, silver casing and tan leather band. The stolen jewelry include the couple’s wedding bands and three other rings, pearl earrings. The laptop is a Dell XPS 9570.
