Const. Rob Weaver checks over the wreck of a Jeep Cherokee after it went out of control and rolled over an embankment on Doumont Road Monday.
The 18-year-old female driver was given a three-day driving prohibition for consuming alcohol, was ticketed for failing to keep right and for not having a driver’s license.
She and her 18-year-old female passenger walked away from the vehicle which narrowly missed several trees. Both occupants were taken to hospital for examination.
Police said speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
