Westwood Lake trail will see a series of temporary closures so city parks crews can widen and replace the 75-metre boardwalk on the northwest side of Westwood Lake.
The trail section will be closed Monday through Thursday (Dec. 12-22) 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for boardwalk reconstruction.
The work will resume Jan. 3 and is expected to be complete by the end of January.
All other sections of the six-kilometre trail will remain open, but trail users will not be able to complete the trail loop while the boardwalk is under construction.
Signs have been posted along the trail to notify park users of closure areas.
