Neighbourhood plan adopted in to OCP

The Newcastle and Brechin Neighbourhood Plan was quietly adopted in to the Official Community Plan Monday

The Newcastle and Brechin Neighbourhood Plan was quietly adopted in to the Official Community Plan Monday by Nanaimo city council after two years of dedicated work by residents and city staff.

The plan also addresses neighbourhood population densities as well as components such as pedestrian walkways, bike lanes, traffic calming.
