The City of Nanaimo has closed Westwood Lake Trail until further notice while crews remove broken limbs and leaning trees caused by the recent snowstorm.
These conditions and clearing operations could be dangerous to trail users, so the trail has been closed, but other areas of Westwood Lake Park remain open.
City crews are working hard to eliminate debris to reopen the trail as soon as possible.
