Nanaimo RCMP have issued arrest warrants for Brandon Maxwell Hopkins, 23, of Nanaimo.

Police have identified Hopkins as the suspect behind the robbery of a ScotiaBank branch and attempted armed robbery of a Tim Hortons franchise in north Nanaimo on Nov. 29.

Hopkins is white, 5-foot-11, 250 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on his right forearm that spells ‘Ashley’ and ‘Star,’ and a tattoo on his left forearm which spells ‘Stay true.’

Hopkins should be considered armed. If seen, do not approach and call 911.
