A gold necklace was found at Buttertubs Marsh and brought to the Nanaimo RCMP detachment for safe keeping.
According to a press release, the gold chain was turned in by a Good Samaritan recently. It has the initials DGK on one side, while an engraving on the other side is one the owner will be able to identify.
Anyone with information on the rightful owner of the gold chain is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, quoting file No. 2022-19906.
