Const. Martin Kortas surveys the scene of a crash on Bruce Avenue Friday that resulted in a 90-day driving prohibition against a Manitoba man.

A 26-year-old man from Manitoba was given a 90-day driving prohibition and ticketed for driving too fast for road conditions after he was involved in a crash with two other vehicles last week.

The crash happened Friday at about 11 a.m. when the man drove his black Dodge Dakota at a high rate of speed down Bruce Avenue and rear-ended a black Honda CRV at the Eighth Street intersection.

The Dodge continued down Bruce Avenue until it veered into a front yard and crashed into a parked Toyota Corolla.

No one was injured and alcohol and speed on the part of the man driving the pickup were contributing factors in the crash, police said.

Roads were also wet from light rain at the time of the crash, which is still under investigation.
