Police in Nanaimo have released this composite sketch of a man alleged to have committed an indecent exposure in late June.

The Nanaimo RCMP has released a composite sketch of a man alleged to have been involved in an indecent exposure.

The incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m. June 25 in Maffeo Sutton Park.

A woman reported to Nanaimo RCMP that a man walked past her with his penis exposed while she was out for a walk with her four-year-old daughter.

She and her daughter continued walking in the opposite direction, but kept an eye on the suspect as he made his way toward Front Street.

Officers made extensive patrols, but were unable to locate the suspect who was described as First Nations, 5-foot-5, middle aged, with a slim build, dark skin and medium-length hair. He was wearing black pants, a beige jacket and beige hat.
