Morning commuters in Nanaimo advised about road work on Dorman Road

Nanaimo drivers are being advised that the morning commute may be affected by road work near Beban Park tomorrow.

According to a social media post, the City of Nanaimo said paving will take place on Dorman Road, between Labieux Road and the E and N Railway tracks, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 22.

There will be no access to Dorman Road from the Old Island Highway, the city said, and turning restrictions will be in place at Labieux-Dorman and McCullough Road-Dorman intersections.
