Missing Nanaimo man’s disappearance ‘out of character’

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing man whose disappearance is out of character.

Axel Lambert, 23, left his family home in the early evening Tuesday, Feb. 16, and has not been seen or heard from since, according to a police press release.

Lambert does not drive and left his bicycle at home.

“His disappearance is out of character which has his family concerned for his safety and well-being,” the release notes.

Lambert is 6-foot-2, 160 pounds and sports a beard and moustache. Nanaimo RCMP did not have a description of the clothing Lambert was wearing when he went missing.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2021-6018.
