Miss Nanaimo Ambassador crowned

Leora Gueulette is this year’s Miss Nanaimo Ambassador after being selected at the 68th gala night Saturday at the Beban Park social centre.

Leora Gueulette is this year’s Miss Nanaimo Ambassador after being selected at the 68th gala night Saturday at the Beban Park social centre.

Gueulette was sponsored by Bliss Gowns and Events. Her vice-ambassadors are Megan Dodds, sponsored by Primal Communications, and Madison Mitchell, sponsored by AGS Business Systems.

Sarah Gustafson, sponsored by Terra Maibach of Remax of Nanaimo, won the fundraiser award.

All Miss Nanaimo Ambassador candidates did fundraising and volunteering leading up to this past weekend, and the gala included public-speaking and talent-show components.
